1. Information We Collect

Cadizio ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, subscribe to our premium plans, or contact our support team. This includes your name, email address, and billing information (processed securely via Stripe).

We also automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. We use third-party tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to capture how you interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve our asset discovery experience. These tools may collect anonymized usage data such as mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behavior to help us identify usability issues and optimize the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the Service. We also use it to communicate directly with you, such as sending you account alerts, billing receipts, and service updates.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

Cadizio uses third-party advertising services, including Google AdSense, to display ads on certain pages. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.

We also use Microsoft Clarity for behavioral analytics. Clarity captures session recordings and heatmaps to help us understand how users navigate the site. No personally identifiable information is stored by Clarity beyond what is described in Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

4. Data Security and Storage

Your assets and metadata are stored on specialized Hetzner S3 buckets using enterprise-grade encryption. Presigned URLs are generated ephemerally to ensure that unauthorized third-parties cannot intercept your asset downloads.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information, aimed squarely at improving the speed and relevance of the asset searches provided to your browser. You may instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent; however, some features of the Service may not function properly without cookies.

6. USA Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a resident of the State of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific rights regarding the personal information we collect about you. These rights include:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the preceding 12 months.
  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that we have collected, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. Cadizio does not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

To exercise any of these rights, please submit a verifiable consumer request by contacting us at privacy@cadizio.com. We will respond to your request within 45 days as required by law.

7. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access, rectify, port, and erase your data. You may also object to and restrict certain processing of your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@cadizio.com. We process your data based on legitimate interest, contractual necessity, or your consent, depending on the specific context.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
